“I needed to good.” What did you mean to write there? Also the bit about “a guy that through sunglasses hid his identity” is a bit awkward. Perhaps “used sunglasses to hide his identity” or ” hid his identity with sunglasses” would work better.
She is saying “I needed to do good”
and the other blurb is “For a guy that thought sunglasses hid his identity”
Honestly you guys, cut the author some slack. The writing is great and sound. The typos are not half as bad as you make them out to be. I tend to have to go back and read three or four times to FIND the typos you are complaining about.
(My apologies Chimera if this is your first time complaining of typos, but others have before you)
While I will agree that a well written, well edited story is always best, I am also greatly enjoying this story. And if you stop assuming the writing is pour and just assume the spelling is, you can usually figure it out. As I said, I don’t even usually spot it. If it gets rough, assume, “Okay if you left out one letter, would this make sense?” or “If I was writing faster than I type, what tiny word might my fingers skip?” and that usually does it.
Sorry about the typos. As I said these are things that just sort of sat around for a while. I didn’t finalize them. I corrected the error.
Plus you could always say she had been drinking so they weren’t grammatical errors it was characterization! At least that’d be my excuse if I was a writer since I’m lazy, so lazy that I’d have all my characters drunkards so I would never have to spell check again.! =D
All kidding aside this has been a darn good comic with good writing, it’s a intriguing story with a fresh take that leaves me wondering where it will go next. Can’t wait for more!
